Kim, thanks for your comment. I have been giggling over your blog, too. Bruce keeps asking what I'm reading. I hope you have a wonderful trip. I have lots of memories of pumping, freezing, transporting. But my older daughter will be 35 this year. TSA had yet to be invented; even microwaves were pretty novel. Now I have a great new source of entertainment on my travels!

The tire is all fixed. Thanks for all your offers of help. We made it to Sterling just before the next wave of rain hit.

We found Pizzarium on a whim, so our skulls (and later our bellies) nearly exploded. The best pizza we've ever had. We had no idea who Bonci was, yet when he came outside to take a break and chat with another employee on break, we could just tell what a massive personality he is, and how kind and funny. After leaving Rome for Naples, we tried to return for more glorious Pizzarium slices, but, alas, they were closed. Thanks for helping us find more info on this great place and amazing chef.

Hi Kim & Jake,
What a funny story!!! I can just picture you both through this entire ordeal. Kim, you are so detailed and expressive, you set up the entire scene so well. I just loved it!! It sounds like Adam is doing well and he just really loves his Mommy & Daddy so much he just doesn't want you to ever leave him. I do hope he is doing better with his colic and you are getting a bit more free time and rest. Please send me a new picture of him as I'm sure he has changed already since his birth. I miss you and will talk with you soon. Take good care. Carol

[...] French Cooking for the Lazy | Travel On A Full Stomach Well, fortunately for me, I'm more than willing to offend the French and adapt a recipe using, gasp, Progresso soup and organic chicken sausage!
